Our prototype implementation suggests that it is possible to built an efficient remote memory pager without making any modifications to the operating systems kernel. Although our system contains all necessary mechanisms to support remote memory paging, there are a few more issues concerning the overall policy that deserve further investigation. Some of these issues are discussed below.
